EBONY.com presents MANIFEST: Black Men Tackle Struggle, Identity and Power
Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM (EDT)
New York, NY
EBONY.com is honored to announce MANIFEST: Black Men Tackle Struggle, Identity and Power, an upcoming multimedia series that will take a serious look at all things Black men and boys. Through deep discussion and exploration around eight major topics (fatherhood, art, health, relationships, religion, sexuality, incarceration, employment and education), we will shine a light on not merely the challenges, but also the important nuances and undeniable triumphs of being Black and male in America.
We have selected you to be an EBONY.com "MANIFEST Special Contributor" and critical part of our brain-trust in the development of this campaign.
Please join us for an exclusive event at B. Braxton in Harlem on Sunday, June 10th, where other esteemed brothers from across the community will gather to discuss the issues that matter most to Black men. Note that this powerful exchange will be taped and highlights will be featured on our site.
If you are unable to attend this event, we still welcome and encourage MANIFEST-related suggestions and content from you. Please contact News and Lifestyle Editor Jamilah Lemieux with any questions about how you can get involved in this special undertaking: email@example.com. Transportation arrangements from locations in New York City are available; contact Melanie Martin with questions/requests: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: this invitation is non-transferrable.
